1985 review of "world broken"
by brian rainville

On June 9, 1985, Saccharine Trust recorded an entirely improvised album at McCabe's Guitar Shop, and to say the least, it turned out excellent. Saccharine Trust has always been a black sheep and their twisted abilities have always led to good musical investments. J. Brewer's vocals drive and contort themselves about you while Baiza's guitars are in their own class (above not below). Saccharine Trust certainly deserves more exposure and odds are that they won't get it with this record, but hey, don't turn you're nose at them- you'd be a fool to.
